GotTuned`s Hybrid Turbocharger built using a custom CNC compressor wheel. This based on genuine stock IHI turbocharger is the ultimate Plug&Play solution for BMW with 2.0 diesel N47N engine, working with stock power 116HP-143HP.
The full list of changes applied is as follows:
- Journal bearings – so-called ‘360’,
- Modification of compressor housing,
- Modification of seal plate,
- Enlarged compressor Billet Wheel 6+6,
- Genuine IHI clipped Turbine Wheel to reduce the backpressure,
- Quick spool by applying lighter/enlarged Billet Wheel,
- Only oil cooling (there is no water cooling),
- Efficient generation of Variable Nozzle Turbine,
- 100% Plug&Play fitment,
- Precise VNT adjustment,
- Genuine IHI compressor housing,
- Genuine IHI exhaust manifold,
- Genuine IHI bearing housing,
- Genuine Hella electronic actuator,
- Dynamically Balanced.
The turbo is meant to work with ~230HP. To reach the declared level of power, you need to adjust your fuel, exhaust, and cooling systems as well. Professional ECU remapping is required.
