Description

GotTuned`s Hybrid Turbocharger built using custom CNC compressor wheel + enlarged turbine wheel. This based on genuine stock GARRETT turbocharger is the ultimate Plug&Play solution for BMW with 2.0 diesel M47TuD20 engine, working with stock power 150HP.

There are two versions available of the 2.0 M47TuD20 hybrid turbochargers with a top peak power range of 230 / 250 Crankshaft Horse Power, as follows:

Hybrid turbocharger ready to make ~230 Crankshaft Horse Power. Full list of changes applied:

• Journal bearings – so-called ‘360’,
• Modification of compressor housing,
• Modification of seal plate,
• Enlarged compressor Billet Wheel 6+6,
• Genuine Garrett clipped and lightened turbine wheel to reduce the backpressure,

• Quick spool by applying lighter/enlarged Billet Wheel,
• Only oil cooling (there is no water cooling),

Hybrid turbocharger ready to make ~250HP. The full list of changes is the same as with the 230 package with the exception of an enlarged turbine wheel.

Performance capabilities

To reach the declared level of power, you need to adjust your fuel, exhaust and cooling systems as well. The professional ECU remapping is required.
